Exfoliating is as essential to healthy skin as moisturizing is. The two go hand-in-hand when it comes to helping your skin look its best.
Exfoliating will rid the skin of lingering dead cells, unclog pores, and reduce inflammation and pigmentation, resulting in smoother, brighter skin with more even tone. It also stimulates blood and lymph flow, as well as skin cell turnover, which all helps to fight signs of aging.
Signs you need to exfoliate:
1. Your skin is looking dull, tired, has lost its glow.
2. Skin tone is uneven, doesn’t appear smooth.
3. Someone asks you what the spots are on your face.
4. Makeup doesn’t go on evenly, makes skin appear duller.
5. Enlarged, visible pores, with dark centers, resemble blackheads.
6. You have more pimples than a teenager.
Directions: After cleansing or with your cleanser, dispense around 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of powder into dampened hand. You won’t need more than this. Activate by adding drops of water until you have a loose paste. Gently massage onto face in circular motions, avoiding eye area. May leave on for up to 5 minutes as a mask, then rinse with warm water to remove.
